Had dinner here with a friend this evening. Overall, the food was fresh and tasted good but the experience was mixed!

The chicken karahi was extremely spicy—to the point where I couldn’t enjoy the gravy and could only eat the chicken pieces. This may suit some people but it would be good to have better balance or a spice-level option. The restaurant itself is very small and because it was busy, people were standing near the main door waiting for seats. This created an uncomfortable environment with people constant movement around our table. The waiting time for food was also quite long which further affected the experience.

Unfortunately, the hygiene standards were disappointing too. The tables felt oily, and the toilet was smelly and not clean, which really took away from the overall dining experience. Even though the food itself was decent, the crowded setting, long wait and poor hygiene mean I personally wouldn’t return. With improvements in cleanliness, space management and service speed, this place could be much better! DISAPPOINTED!

Tried an Afghan grill recently and the food itself was really nice and full of flavour — you can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing. The dishes were delicious, well-seasoned, and authentic, which I genuinely enjoyed. 🍽️

Unfortunately, the service let the experience down. Everything was very slow, from taking the order to bringing the food, and the staff seemed distracted and disorganised, spending more time chatting with each other than attending to customers. It made the visit feel much longer and more frustrating than it needed to be.

Great food, but they really need to improve their service and attention to customers. Hopefully they can work on that! Skadoosh

Afghan Grill offered a delightful culinary experience with truly good, flavorful food that hit the spot. While the service was competent, it leaned more towards adequate than exceptional. Despite this, the delicious dishes and cozy atmosphere made for an enjoyable meal. Perfect for a casual Afghan food craving!

Today’s experience was good. Food was very good.
Kebabs were marinated and grilled to perfection, mouthwatering.
Salad was fresh, juicy, tangy.
My child also enjoyed the food.
Service was prompt and attentive, not like described by reviews below.
We will return.

My family and I came here for lunch. We ordered the Grand Grill and really enjoyed it. Everything is delicious, the prices are very low as well. The service was also very good. Anas was our server, he was very kind and took care of us.

I recommend everyone to come here and have the barbecue, it’s authentic, fresh and definitely the best I’ve had for a very good price.
